Identify Census Officers
The face-to-face interview phase of the 2016 Population By-census ended on 2 August 2016.
In the face-to-face interview phase during 16 July to 2 August 2016, census officers would carry a Census Officer Certificate of Identity issued by the Census and Statistics Department (C&SD). This certificate would bear the photo, name and identity number of the census officer concerned. They would also wear purple uniforms and By-census badges, and carry red satchels. Households were reminded to confirm the identities of the census officers before admitting them to their premises.
